Life skills and values are dynamic in nature and are less known and understood in the context of formal education. Accordingly, it is particularly important for the assessment of these competencies that measurement procedures commence with proper defnition of the constructs, clarifcation of the constructs, development of tasks and items, collection and scoring of responses, through to the production of measures.
