Raynor Pollo
Raynor Osare-Polo is an award-winning Kenyan journalist who has excelled in television production. Ms. Polo has 15 years experience in media and communications, having worked in mainstream media and civil society organizations working around education policy, research, and advocacy. She thrives in multimedia design and content production, strategic communication, media monitoring and evaluation,audience research, media relations, crisis communication, public campaigns communication, case studies, among others. Polo is also a fictional author and poet. She has recently found passion in Kenyan Sign Language. She sharpens her skills by training communicators and budding journalists. Ms Polo has studied master’s in development communication at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literary Studies from Moi University. She majored in Literature and had media studies as her minor. Polo also has training in media, communications, advocacy, and donor fund management from various institutions in Kenya, South Africa and the US. She serves as the Senior Communications Officer for the ALiVE Program.
