Zamzam Juma

Program assistant

Zamzam is a passionate, aspiring program management professional. She is an IT-with-management graduate, with a lot of interest in project management, innovation, and community engagement, gender and 21st century skills learning. Currently, she works with Milele Zanzibar Foundation as the Program / Admin Assistant for the ALiVE Project (Action on Life Skills and Values in East Africa). She was part of the pioneering assessment team members during the National Assessment of Life Skills and Values, Zanzibar. She also has experience in network administration and customer support, amassed from working with Zanlink Liquid Telecom, Zanzibar as a Network Operation Center Engineer. She gained community engagement skills through working with the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), Zanzibar Chapter where she was engaged in helping girls and women in education programs and social media content creation. Zamzam believes in the power to create a positive influence on people's lives through a conscious effort to learn and explore new things every day. She hopes to constantly improve herself and inspire others to do the same.
